this includes submitting within deadline and any required revisions while working with our organization to finalize your piece.

Your role and responsibility are to:

  • Pick a topic or story for the community you want to tell us about

  • Prepare and write scripts and lines for the topic or story

  • Shoot videos of the community, using your own cameras and words to showcase your community, reflecting your own thoughts and experiences

  • Edit clips and audios to make a 5-10min video in length, use subtitles, prompt words and background music of your choice if needed

  • Share the video and work with us on any revisions needed

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • You are creative, passionate and proud of your community 

  • You love to inspire others and share stories through camera lenses

  • You possess excellent communication skills, including speech and presentation

  • You pay attention to detail

  • You have exceptional organizational skills

  • You can commit to deadlines

  • You have experience in video editing
